How To Apply an Iron-on Patch
Article So, you've purchased an iron-on patch and don't know how to apply it?

No worries! This information might help you!

How do you know if the patch you have is an iron-on? Well, we have two types: Canvas and Iron-on.
1. Canvas Patches are 'old school' and require you to be somewhat DIY savvy and sew (glue, staple, whatever!) the patch on.
2. Iron-on Patches have a semi-shiny back, which is the adhesive glue that melts (once heated up with an iron) onto almost any fabric type.

The following steps are for IRON-ON PATCHES only!

Step 1
Set your iron to the "cotton" setting, and let it heat up

Step 2
Make sure the surface of the fabric you're applying the patch to is clean!

Step 3
Before putting the patch on, place the hot iron on the spot where the patch will go, and heat it up for about 10 seconds.

Step 4
Place the patch onto the fabric, cover with a clean tea towel (clothe), and press firmly for at least 10 - 20 seconds

Step 5
Turn the fabric over (or inside out), and iron where the back side of the patch is for another 20 seconds

Step 6
Let cool for one minute. If the edges come up, repeat step 5
