How To Apply a Rub-On Sticker
Article So, you've purchased a rub-on sticker and don't know how to apply it?

No worries! This information might help you!

Rub-on transfer stickers have a similar use to stickers, but unlike a sticker it has no obvious sticky surface and is much thinner. They will however, stick to most smooth surfaces, such as glass. Rub-ons come on a sheet almost like wax paper, with an additional clear sheet on top.

When you are ready to use the rub-ons, DON’T cut the protective sheet.

Step 1
Pull the thicker paper back away from the thinner clear sheet VERY SLOWLY.
If, as you start pulling it apart, the image starts to break apart (eg. some sticks to the thicker sheet, and some sticks to the clear sheet), simply lay the clear sheet back down -- rub on it for a little bit (to get the image to stick to the clear sheet again), then start pulling it apart again.

Step 2
Place the image where you'd like it - on a clean smooth surface - and gently rub across the entire image with a smooth tool (like a ruler). Make sure to rub firmly, but not aggressively - then leave the sticker (with it's clear sheet still attached) for at least 30 - 60 seconds to adhere.

Step 3
Pull away the clear sheet slowly (if any of the image starts to pull away with the clear sheet, simply lay the sheet back down, re-rub and leave for a bit longer) - and you're done!
